Hydro Screw Press

Glanua’s Screw Press range of sludge dewatering systems are some of the most efficient in the world, delivering energy savings of up to 80% against other dewatering technologies such as centrifuge and belt presses. Glanua design to site specific conditions and provide support in equipment selection, installation, commissioning and optimisation.

Hydro Aeration System

The Hydro Aeration System is essential in all biological wastewater treatment plants to provide oxygen to bacteria for treating and stabilising the wastewater. Oxygen is needed by the bacteria to allow biodegradation to occur. The supplied oxygen is utilised by bacteria in the wastewater to break down the organic matter containing carbon to form carbon dioxide and water. In order to achieve effective biodegradation of the effluent diffused aeration systems must be installed. Glanua have over 25 years’ experience in the supply of Aeration Systems in all types of wastewater applications.

Hydro Polymer System

The Hydro Polymer Make-Up System can be used in a range of dewatering and chemical coagulation/flocculation applications to batch and condition raw emulsion polymers. The batching system is fully automated and can be connected to downstream processes to provide on-demand flow proportional dosing, increasing process efficiency and minimising operator input.

Hydro Step Screen

Efficient screening is necessary to protect downstream components of wastewater treatment systems, Hydro Step Screens provide a robust fine screening solution for all applications. With units to serve flows up to 12,000 m³/hour and apertures of 1m to 6mm Hydro will assess client’s requirements on an individual basis to determine the best solution. Our fine screens are suitable for above ground or below ground installation and screenings can be discharged into a compaction system allowing for a reduction in waste from site and associated reduction in disposal costs.

Bespoke Products & Innovation

Glanua pride ourselves on an innovative approach to water, wastewater and sludge process and treatment technologies. We innovate solutions to meet our clients needs with a key focus on sustainability innovation and a drive towards carbon neutrality. Our dedicated in-house design team will take a clients brief or requirements and develop bespoke engineering solutions to achieve those needs. With our in-house fabrication facility we can then take these solutions to progress to build stage of either trial units or full scale solutions. Glanua have worked with numerous valued clients in developing technologies to meet their requirements including liquid / solid separation technologies to extract high value liquid fractions from waste products.
