‘This is more than a partnership—it’s a shared vision for ongoing water sustainability in industrial and municipal environments’ said Glanua’s Innovation Leader, Fabio Bacci, Fabio led in-depth discussions with HPNow to gain a thorough understanding of their product suite and assess the potential for collaboration.
Addressing a Pressing Problem
Hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) is a persistent issue in municipal and industrial wastewater, resulting from the breakdown of organic matter and sulfate reduction. Its toxic nature and corrosive byproducts, especially sulfuric acid, pose serious threats to critical infrastructure. Conventional treatment methods rely on harsh oxidants like chlorine and concentrated hydrogen peroxide, both of which present environmental and safety challenges.
‘We are thrilled to partner with Glanua to bring our onsite hydrogen peroxide generation technology to a broader audience,’ said Wayne Powell, Industrial Sales Leader at HPNow. ‘This collaboration supports our shared mission to provide a safer, cleaner, and more cost-effective way to treat water and wastewater, while reducing environmental impact. Together, we are enabling the transition away from traditional chemical treatments and toward a more sustainable future.’
Glanua looks forward to furthering our exclusive partnership with HPNow and working together with the specific regulatory and operational needs of the municipal sector in Ireland and to bring this innovative technology to a broader market, with the focus on solving real-world process challenges.
