Glanua raises €25,350 for Féileacáin, a not for profit organisation that provides support to anyone affected by the death of a baby during or after pregnancy.
The money was raised through Glanua’s annual Golf Classic, which brought together clients, suppliers, partners and colleagues for a day of sport, networking and fundraising in support of a cause that touches many families across Ireland.
The event, held at the Athenry Golf Club in May, saw excellent participation from teams across the water, wastewater and construction sectors, with all proceeds going directly to Féileacáin to support the vital services it provides to bereaved parents and families.
Speaking at the cheque presentation, Karl Zimmerer, Group Managing Director at Glanua, thanked everyone who contributed to the success of the event.
“We are incredibly grateful to all our sponsors, golfers, volunteers, clients, suppliers and colleagues who supported this year’s Golf Classic. Raising €25,350 for Féileacáin is a remarkable achievement and a testament to the generosity and compassion of everyone involved. Féileacáin is a charity that holds a special place in my heart and I know it is a cause that means a great deal to many people. They offer comfort, understanding and a sense of community when it is needed most. We are honoured to support their work and hope this donation will help them continue to be there for families across Ireland.”
