Glanua has officially opened its new Northwest UK office in Newton-le-Willows, Merseyside, marking another significant milestone in the company’s continued expansion across the United Kingdom.

The new office will strengthen Glanua’s ability to deliver water and wastewater infrastructure projects throughout the North West of England, providing a regional base for its UK operations, including Aqua Operations and Marches Biogas.

The office currently employs ten people, with recruitment already underway for a further five positions as the business continues to grow and invest in the region.

The official opening took place during Enterprise Ireland’s Trade Mission to Manchester and was attended by Minister of State Niamh Smyth TD and Enterprise Ireland CEO Jenny Melia, highlighting the importance of Irish companies expanding their presence in international markets.

Speaking about the new office, Glanua’s Municipal Managing Director of UK and Ireland Conor Gilligan said; “The opening of our Northwest office represents another important milestone in Glanua’s growth journey in the UK. The region is strategically important to our business and this new base allows us to support our clients better while creating new opportunities for growth and employment. We are delighted to welcome Minister Smyth and Enterprise Ireland as we celebrate this investment in our future.
