Project Overview

Glanua completed the installation of a new Water Treatment Plant (WTP) at Kylemore Abbey in November 2021. The Abbey is nestled in the heart of Connemara, on the Wild Atlantic Way and is a haven of history, beauty and serenity. The abbey is home to a Benedictine order of nuns for the past 100 years. Kylemore Abbey welcomes visitors from all over the world each year to embrace the magic of the magnificent 1,000 acre estate.

Glanua installed a Filtration plant with Chemical and Ultraviolet light dosing to ensure a clean and safe drinking supply for the residents and visitors of Kylemore Abbey. In addition to the design/ build phase of the contract, Kylemore Abbey have appointed Glanua for an extended Operations & Maintenance phase.
