We are thrilled to announce that Glanua’s Paul Gardner, Director of Group Development, has been nominated for the esteemed position of British Water UK forum Chair.
Paul has worked in the water sector for 17 years and has gained significant international exposure throughout his career in Ireland, Australia and the UK. His professional qualifications include an Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering and is chartered with Engineers Ireland. He holds an MBA from UCD Michael Smurfit Business School. Paul is a founding Director of Glanua UK and spearheaded the expansion of Glanua into the UK Market where he was Managing Director of the UK Business until 2022.
He was appointed to his current role as Group Development Director to focus on furthering Glanua’s ambitions in the municipal and industrial sectors across UK and internationally and leads the group sustainability strategy. Paul’s experience and future focus aligns fully with British Water’s ambitions to support members and partners with an interest in the UK municipal and industrial markets.
Having championed Glanua’s membership of British Water since 2015, Paul sees British Water playing an increasingly important role in the industry to help businesses tackle the challenges and embrace the opportunities that exist within the sector. He would therefore be honoured to be elected Chair of the UK Forum of British Water.
